 Prajavani Online Quiz Finals were held on 20th of February 2021 . Seven students from across Karnataka were pitted against each other in the grand finale. Daksh Niranjan Shettar of Grade 10 from Presidency School, R T Nagar was crowned the winner.

Times Inter School Quiz Competition 2019

  • The Presidency School RT Nagar, has won the Second Place in the Quiz Competition held by the ‘Times Inter School Quiz Competition’
  • The participants of the Quiz team were Krishnan – Grade 9, Sahana – Grade 10, Ananya – Grade 10
  • The school received Rs. 50,000 award for the same.
  • We also congratulate the budding quizzers and the team comprising Kaushal – Grade 6, Girik – Grade 6, Hananeal – Grade 8 who were placed Fourth at the same quiz.

On 11th July, 2019 Vidya Nikethan School conducted Frank Anthony Memorial All India School Debate Competition 2019 in which Pragnya was adjudged the second best Speaker.

On 3rd of February, 2019 – Kannada Sahitya Sammelana was held in Hebbal. The dancers of our School stood 2nd and the Quizzers bagged the 2nd and 3rd place in Karnataka Quiz.

Vijaya Bank Quiz competition

Vijaya Bank Quiz – 3rd February’19 was held at Vijaya Bank Head Quarter Trinity Circle. Over 141 schools participated. With more than 256 teams participating, Our team of Daksh Shettar of grade 8 and Ananya Patil Rao of grade 9 were the first runners up and won a cash award of Rs. 40,000.

Indica Quiz organaised by NEXUS

Indica Quiz orgaised by NEXUS at Institution of Agricultural Technologists- The fourth edition of the quiz was held on 26th January’19. There were two quizzes – one for Std. 5-8 in which Krishnan and Sampreet of grade 8 were the winners who won a hoard of goodies and for Std 9-12 – In which Aditya Sajiv and Ananya Patil Rao came fourth. The Top Schools of Bangalore and other cities of South India Participated in this event.

TCS ION – IntelliGem Competition at Mumbai

TCS ION – IntelliGem Final round was held between 24th and 26th January, 2019 at Mumbai. In the Category for Super Skills Eshika R. Nikam of grade 8 was the 2nd runner up and lassoeda cash prize of Rs. 25,000 apart from many other goodies.

Prajavani Quiz Competition

Prajavani Quiz was conducted on 24th of January, 2019 at Gyana Jyothi Auditorium. More than 250 schools participated. Our team of Daksh Shatter of grade 8 and Ananya Patil Rao of grade 9 won the Bangalore round and came third in the State round. They won a cah award of Rs.16000/-.

Mahila Seva Samaja-Interschool quiz competition

Mahila Seva Samaj Quiz organized by the Rotary Club at Mahila Seva Samaj School, Basavanagudi, Bangalore. Our team of of Daksh Shatter of grade 8 and Ananya Patil Rao of grade 9 were the winners.

Talkathon

A Talkaton was organized by IBS at the Organic State Green Path and divided into three groups.  Renewable sources of Energy,Food adulteration and water pollution and scarcity.Our students Anamika Hari of Grade 7 A secured First Place in Food Adulteration. Eshita of grade 9 secured on Water Pollution and Scarcity.

The quizzing team (Sahana and Sampreet) of PSRTN has won INTACH India Heritage Quiz 2018 today and has made it to the Nationals to be held at Delhi. Congratulations to the team and the teachers!

3.Education Today presented us with two awards one for our exemplary contribution in the field of education.
4.And the other for seeking an overall position of second in karnataka and 9th all india amongst all the ICSE Schools.

In 36th Junior National Tenni-Koit Championship -2017 organised by Jammu and Kashmir Tenni-Koit Association our student Anisha Ananda Manegar of grade 8A participated and secured First place in Team Championship and she has also received a Gold medal
8th ARA Memorial Inter School Chess Tournament 2016, Little flower Public School Manya Hegde 1st prize Nachiketh Adiga 2nd prize  Nachiketh received 2500 cash award and merit certificate for his achievement in the field of chess (indoor games)

Mahila Samaja Seva conducted an Inter school quiz competition on 31/10/2017 in which our students Shashwath Aiyappa of grade 10A and Adithya Balakrishna of grade 10A have won the Rolling Trophy.
PANORAMA” An Inter –School literary and cultural festival , on 8th of August 2017 at Baldwin Girls High school. Several
events took place in which our students participated and won the following prizes. We were the Overall first Runner’s up tied up with NLO

British Council presented us with the International
School Award for the year 2017 to 2020. This is the
second time we have received this award. The earlier
award was from 2013-2016. This is based on a year
long assessment of our activities done in our school
to promote the spirit of internationalism.

Shashank Kiron Nair, X std., Presidency School, R T Nagar, Bangalore receivedthe Kalashree Award for Creative Performance from honourable minister of state for child welfare Ms. Umasri at a function organised by Jawahar Balbhavan on the occassion of Children’s Day 2017. Winners are identified  based on the competitions conducted at various levels vs taluk, district and state  Kalashree is the highest state wide recognition for children below the age of 16 with exception skills.

In the area of Quiz our team have been doing extremely well. At the Intach India Heritage quiz our team of Aditya Bala and Shashwath Aiyappa came first in the Bangalore. And they also secured second position at the South Zonal level.
Times NIE conducted ‘Geet Sangeet’ competition on 11th of January at Vijayashree Auditorium, Subramaniam Academy of performing Arts in which our student Shashank Krishnamani of grade 7A won 2nd position in final round. And he sang in front of Dr.L Subramanian and Kavitha Krishnamurthy.

NachikethAdiga of Grade 5 secured 2nd position in Nalanda Chess Championship held at Nalanda Chess Academy, Shimoga and secured 2nd position in First State Level Open Chess Championship held at Vidyaniketan, Udupi. He also secured 1st position in Under-15 boys Open Chess Championship held at Lions Eye Hospital, Bhadravathi.

ManyaHegde of Grade 5 secured 3rd position in Under-15 Open Chess Championship held at Lions Eye Hospital, Bhadravathi and secured 7th position in Karnataka State Under-11 Chess Championship held at Gandhi Bhavan, Mandya. She also secured 3rd position in the First Railwheel All India Chess Championship.

  • Ayesha Nasir of Grade 6 secured 1st prize in Presidency Challenge Elocution-Poem held in Nimhan’s Auditorium on 23rd July. This is the 3rd consecutive year that we have won the 1st prize in Elocution at the Presidency Challenge.
  • Priyanka Raghu of Grade 7 won the 3rd place in Talk-in-TimeCompetition and ShashwanthAiyappa of Grade 7 wonthe 2nd place in Spell-Bound, at a Literary Fest, Engenius held at NPS Indiranagar on 25th July
  • At the Horlicks Wizkids,held at GyanaJyoti Auditorium, Central College on 25th July, Pooja, Sashrika and Sampreeth won the 1st place in “I Search”, Akash Reddy won the 1st place in Wizkid Got Talent, Aamukta won the 1st place in Hairstyle, ParvathyAjit won the 1st place, Gowri won the 2nd place and Pratham won 3rd place in Drawing, Chelsi won the 3rd place in Hairstyle.
