Presidency School RTNagar hosted Pratidhi ( Hope)– a felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and appreciate the performances of our students at the Board Exams. Ms Ashwini Obulesh- alumna and Advocate High Court of Karnataka, Recipient of the Vikram Singh Gold Medal for Young Leader was the Chief Guest for the day. The All Faith Prayer began the ceremonies rolling . The Vice Principal Ms Pritha Sanyal welcomed the assemblage and introduced the Chief Guest for the day. Knowledge, movement, achievement, and freedom – These are the four aspects that one gains from having a Guru and rightly so, the Principal felicitated all the Gurus and thanked them for their tireless efforts in imparting knowledge for success. The School Toppers Prarthana Shivkumar and Anoushka Paul, with 99% as their score were awarded medals and certificates. Students who secured centums were also felicitated at this ceremony. The parents of all these students were honoured centre stage by the dignitaries. The Chief Guest in her address drove in the fact that a School is the anvil for the future and builds foundation for rightful behaviour for a progressive society . Contributions of a school and its teachers undeniably create milestones for all future citizens. The toppers shared learning strategies with the new batch of X graders who are prepping up for the Boards. The message to all was loud and clear. If you chase anything in life ,Chase the things that give you hope, happiness and a glimpse of a better life. Chase the things that make you want to be a better person. Chase the things that inspire you to think, create and live joyfully. Chase the things that reinforce in your soul that you can make a difference. Chase the things that make you want to transform your heart from selfish to selfless. When you chase that kind of storm you are chasing rainbows.
