As our nation marks the 76th Republic Day, we at Presidency School R. T Nagar celebrated this milestone with an intention to keep our nation safe and secure forever. The celebrations were held on the school campus on 26th January 2025. The Chief Guest for the event was Captain Rajagopal Reddy. B.N.
The Chief Guest was ceremoniously welcomed by the N.C.C contingent of the school and school band. He was escorted by the principal and other dignitaries.
The celebration began with unfurling of the National Flag accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem.
The program featured a series of cultural performances. Students of various grades presented an array of activities, including patriotic songs, speeches, and dances representing the unity in diversity of India. A thought-provoking Dance Drama added to the patriotic fervour.
While the Chief Guest addressed the gathering, he spoke about the significance of this day and lauded the achievements made by our nation in various spheres.
The speech was met with loud applause and left a lasting impression on everyone present.
Our Principal, Ms. Rekha Vinod also delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the significance of Republic Day and urging students to uphold the values of the Constitution—justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Laasya of grade 9.
