Presidency  School RT Nagar celebrated the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki with all sanctity and ethos. Valmiki is revered as the first poet of Sanskrit Literature and a great sage. He authored the epic Ramayana.

The celebration saw Bhajans, kirtans skits and teachings of Valmiki in all its splendour.

Show no disrespect even when impelled by desire or anger. People are as repelled by a liar as they are of serpents.

Lord Valmiki’s life teaches us that we are not born good or evil, it’s our deeds that determine our greatness.

The message of this great sage was reiterated and the relevance of his teachings in the contemporary world was impressed upon.
